Spectrum enter the marina and marine market, now providing WiFi at 38 UK marinas, and add motorway services to the Spectrum WiFi estate. Spectrum wins 60 Moto motorway service station sites for WiFi, and a 5 year contract at London City Airport.
Further successful airport activity with contracts signed at Norwich airport for internet desks, and additional desks being added at London City, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Gatwick, Heathrow and Bristol airports!
The company reorganises the business into two key divisions, Travel and Hospitality, to focus on delivering a more comprehensive range of communications, IT and entertainment solutions to customers.

Spectrum complete installation of internet desks into Manchester Airport.
Spectrum's media sales team sign significant online Mastercard campaign. Spectrum issue a Trading Statement to the City. Premier Inn announce the acquisition of a further 21 hotels, all of which will be upgraded to Spectrum's WiFi service (WiFiSpectrum) by October.
Spectrum launch "Spectrum Accounts" as a new and easy way to use Spectrum Internet Desks. A new trial starts to test "Multi-Function Kiosks" (MaxBox) at key airport locations. The kiosks offer mobile phone topup, games and ringtones, as well other exciting services. Initial installs are at key locations at Heathrow along side existing Spectrum internet desks.
Another busy month! The sales team expand their team.
The public got it's first sight of Spectrum's new Internet Desk installations across BAA's Heathrow Terminal 5. The installations include a highly innovative new design for the T5 departures lounge, and bespoke designs for installations within Caffe Nero, Bagel Street & Love Juice retail concessions. PrintSpectrum, Spectrum's WiFi printing service, was successfully rolled out across Radisson Edwardian hotels, in a three year deal.
March see the interim results released - "Strong growth in Interactive business. Overall performance in line with the Board's previously announced plans". Leeds & Bradford International Airport upgrade their WiFi services to WiFiSpectrum.
The Travelodge website launches new service to offer guests the opportunity to purchase Spectrum Interactive's WiFi time, at the same time as booking their hotel room. The project team expect the functionality to increase WiFi awareness and thus revenues. Spectrum formally announces PrintSpectrum, a WiFi & Blackberry printing service, at the Hotelypia show, Excel Centre. Key installs in the month includes WiFi services at Newcastle Airport.
Greene King sign a three year deal for WiFi services across 86 hotels and pubs. At January's Board meeting an EMI Option Scheme to benefit certain employees.
