26/02/2008 - Travelodge WiFi now sold online, with the room!

The Travelodge website now offers guests the opportunity to purchase WiFi time, at the same time as booking their hotel room.
 
Spectrum Interactive plc (the exclusive provider of WiFi services at UK Travelodge sites) and Travelodge have worked closely on integration work to enable Spectrum's WiFiSpectrum vouchers to be sold online through the Travelodge website. The development prompts the guest to add additional purchases including WiFi vouchers during the online booking process. Once bought, it makes the connection process easier on the day of the stay, and guests still have the option to pay by credit card on the day if they wish.   
 
Daniel Gray, Spectrum's Head of Marketing & Product said, "We're excited by this development, and have successfully integrated with one of the UK's busiest websites. We believe this adds choice for the hotel guest, and we have already seen a notable percentage of total purchases being sold via the Travelodge website. This innovation will help further improve the awareness of WiFiSpectrum availability across the Travelodge estate, and we expect it to increase overall Travelodge WiFi revenues."
